Holidays in South TyrolOur Hotel in the Eisack Valley, near Sterzing – South Tyrol will enchant youThe Hotel Ratschingserhof is located in Stanghe. The village takes its name from a customs barrier get around 1240 because bishops of Brixen cashed a toll. Stanghe is a small village of the municipality of Racines with about 400 inhabitants. It is 4 km away from the nearest town Vipiteno and is situated at the entrance from the Racines and Ridanna Valley. The saying "small is beautiful" - probably best meets our village Stanghe. Right next to the hotel there is a bank, a doctor, a pharmacy, a pizzeria and a grocery store. In addition, the administrative seat of the whole community Racines accommodated in our village. Approx. 200 metres away, the sports zone, where football games, tennis, rock climbing, bowling and mini golf. For our younger guests, there is also a children's playground. In winter, a cross-country skiing by Mareta to Casateia and leads a few metres from our hotel over. Opposite the hotel is also a natural bobsleigh track and a small ice skating rink. Our hotel is an ideal departure point for all, that love hiking and biking in the summer, and skiing or sledging in the winter. The mountain scenario of the Eisack Valley will also impress you!
